Privacy policy
Short version: the game does not ask who you are, keeps your progress on your own computer, and the online server forgets your name when you leave.

Who we are
Sol Divided is an independent game made in Bulgaria (EU). For any question about your data, write to contact.
Playing offline
The campaign, battles against the AI, two players at one computer, your decks, settings and statistics are saved only on your own computer, in the game's user folder. Nothing of this is sent to us.
Playing online
When you play online, the game connects to our server (play.soldivided.eu). The server needs a few things to run a battle:
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| The player name you type | Shown to your opponent | Only while you are connected. It is not written to any file or log |
| Your deck | To play the battle | See "battle records" below — without your name |
| A random battle token | To put you back into the battle if your connection or the game closes | Until the battle ends (kept 10 minutes after it, so you can see the result) |
| Your IP address | Needed by the internet to connect at all | Not stored by the game server; the connection passes through Cloudflare (see below) |
No account, e-mail address, password or payment information is ever asked for or stored.
Battle records
After each online battle the server writes down, without any name or address: both decks, who went first, who won and why (normal end, giving up, leaving), the number of turns, how long it took and which cards were played. We use these records only to find cards and commanders that are too strong or too weak, and to show the weekly meta. They cannot be linked back to a player.
This website
This site uses no cookies, no trackers and no analytics. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts are downloaded. The "players online" and meta numbers are read from our server and contain no personal data.
Cloudflare
The website and the game server are reached through Cloudflare, which protects them and forwards the traffic. Cloudflare processes your IP address to do this. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. In practice the only personal data the server ever sees is the name you type while you are connected. If you have a question or a request, write to contact. You may also complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg).
Children
The game does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date.
